What you need

  • Windows 10 or 11

    Escribal is a desktop application and is installed from the Microsoft Store.

  • A connection to check the subscription

    Once per working session, again when you open your plans in Settings, and for whatever your workflow asks for.

Escribal is not available in the European Union or in China for now.

Try it first

The first week is free

Either plan starts with a one-week free trial. The Microsoft Store asks for a payment method to start it, charges the plan you chose when the week ends unless you cancel before, and gives the trial once per Microsoft account. To see the program before that, the example shows a whole workflow and the guides explain how one is built.

The best way to use the week: run the example, connect your AI agent and ask it for a change, or break something on purpose and see how the program tells you.

The subscription

How it works

  • Bought inside the program

    The download is free and the subscription is bought from the program's start window, through the Microsoft Store. No account with the author and no sign-in are needed: the purchase uses the Microsoft account already signed in to Windows.

  • It is asked for when the program opens

    The first window offers the two plans with their free week, and without a subscription the program goes no further. An AI agent cannot use it either.

  • Microsoft sells it and charges for it

    Price, taxes, renewal, cancellation and refunds follow the Microsoft Store terms. You cancel on your Microsoft account, at account.microsoft.com/services, and changing plans is explained in the questions.

  • What you have made stays yours

    When the subscription ends, the documents you generated and your .scriba files stay on your computer.
